Using The Paint Bucket To Make A Background Pattern


1. Open the graphic you want to work with.
2. Click File/new a box will come up

have your settings the same as these.
3. From the graphic select an area with the freehand tool, which would make a nice texture for the background.

You can either: 4. Click on Selections/convert to seamless pattern (the selection will be opened as a new image in PSP6)

or

4a. Click on the bucket tool, then on the control panel - On the first tab; click on Fill Style/Pattern.


On the second tab click on: the drop down tab and find the number of the graphic you've made a selection in. Then click on your background strip with the bucket tool.
5. Then click on your background strip with the bucket tool.
the pattern magically repeats till it fills the entire background strip.
